After her death, her sister discovered a collection of over 1,800 poems and worked to get them published. Dickinson's poetry is known for its unique style, often using unconventional punctuation and capitalization, as well as exploring themes of nature, love, death, and immortality. Her work is still highly regarded today and she is considered one of the greatest American poets.
