First of all, we want to give the good news: after discussing it with Shift Up, we can keep absolutely all of our previous posts and videos, so those who want to know how we were, or want to reminisce about the old times, can do so and visit our old posts✨️. We will also upload to a Drive all our songs, images, and videos in high quality so you can download them and use them as you wish, although this will take some time as we organize everything. After discussing it, we can continue to use and publish elements from Nikke in a non-commercial way; we may make some future posts or references, as the truth is we love the game and its characters, especially Doro, of course. We are very grateful to Shift Up for this decision they have made with us. After this post, we will focus entirely on our new image and concentrate our efforts on it. For this reason, between tomorrow and the day after tomorrow, we will make an announcement regarding the new mascot. Now, regarding when we will open our next location, that will take a long time, probably 1 year to 1 year and a half, as it won't even be in Reynosa (although there are plans to open one in Reynosa, where it all started), and we will open properly, larger and better decorated than when we started Elotes Doro, for which we are very excited, but we will have to be very patient. Without further ado, we thank you all for the support you have given us in these past couple of years as Elotes Doro. Honestly, we included Doro in the business solely because both Doro seemed quite fun to us and we really liked it; we never thought it would get this far, as when we included it, Doro was relatively not very well-known yet, and we really didn't even know back then who had created it. For this reason, we are very grateful to the users 수어리해변야스마렵다 and Kakarot, without whom Doro would not have existed, and therefore Elotes Doro neither. Today we just clarified things better with a legal advisor from Shift Up, and we are also going to clarify the situation better, as we really didn't know how much we could say and how much we couldn't, also to reassure the community a bit with all this: - First of all, we were not threatened from the beginning. - As we said in our original post, we wanted to formalize the business, because it was necessary, since as a business, we need to comply with regulations and report to institutions like the government such as the SAT, and if we wanted to open more branches in other states, it was necessary, so we approached Shift Up to request permission to exclusively use Doro, which was denied to us, and for that reason, we were asked to stop any commercial use of Doro, hence the rebranding. - Shift Up mentioned their reasons, and we agree with them, as we also do not want to have a bad relationship with them, we also do not want to incite hate towards Shift Up, from the side they might believe we were threatened in a similar way, it was not like that. - We will later make a new post where we will provide the most complete context possible, as we are still dialoguing about what we can or cannot let go, to finalize the phase of Elotes Doro. As always, we greatly appreciate your support in this situation; you are the best gaming community there is, and you have always supported us since day 1, but we do not want it to escalate to inciting hate, as that is also wrong.
