Kaja Kallas and Radosław Sikorski are right: now is the moment to show up, not back down — increase defensive aid, humanitarian relief, and coordinated sanctions while protecting civilians and border communities. At the same time, responsible leaders must calibrate actions to deter further aggression without needlessly risking a wider war; diplomacy and international legal pressure (ICC, sanctions, asset freezes) should work alongside military support.
