The average salary of Latvian doctors, excluding some super-specialty professions that everyone always talks about, is below the average salary in the economy. Therefore, the Association of Rural and Family Doctors is also calling for this salary to be increased by at least 25.4%, especially highlighting that it is necessary for our doctor assistants, nurses, and support staff. This issue is considered a priority by Liga Kozlovska, the head of the Latvian Rural Family Doctors Association and a member of parliament (Green and Farmers Union): #veselība #mediķi #māsas (translated)
