Maar achter ieder succes staan mensen die je onderweg het vertrouwen geven om door te gaan. Voor Raymond, Jip, Tom en mij was dat onze moeder. Ze leefde voor ons . Ze reed duizenden kilometers met ons overal heen, als het am met motoren en of auto raced was. Ze motiveerde ons als het tegenzat en genoot minstens zo hard als wij wanneer het goed ging. Als ik terugkijk, besef ik steeds meer hoeveel invloed ze op ons heeft gehad. Zonder haar waren we nooit geworden wie we vandaag zijn. Vandaag zou ze 90 zijn geworden.
