What do you do when you buy an old homestead in the countryside: do you tear everything down or do you save every annex? In Bihor County, Adriana Beca, with the help of craftsman Dănuț Hotea, chose the second path and began transforming even the former pigpen and wood shed into future welcoming little houses for guests. Without demolitions, without complicated permits, just with old oak and beech wood, lightweight roofs made of shingles, and a lot of soul. The complete report, with all the technical explanations from phase zero, is now on YouTube in the miniseries "Moved Houses, Saved Stories." I’m curious: would you have kept the old annexes or would you have built something modern from scratch? https://youtu.be/sv8nyiAU_HA https://youtu.be/sv8nyiAU_HA (translated)
