I can't understand how anyone can think that USA is doing well today, they have a national debt of $39.07 trillion that is $118,580 per capita. Their national oil reserve is at a record low since april 1983 and the Iran war going on with raising gas prices and the cost of the Iran war adding about 1 billion dollar a day to the national costs. They are alianating all their western allies and signing a nuclear deal with Saudi Arabia, possibly giving them opportunity to make nukes in the future, that makes you think that they might be replacing their western allies with rich Islamic dictatorships that practicing sharia laws. That's not the US I grew up with as a respected leader of the free democratic world.

Additionally, the Democracy Perception Index 2026 placed the U.S. with a net perception score of -16%, below both Russia (-11%) and China (+7%), indicating a broader decline in U.S. global standing for the second consecutive year ​⁠.

I don't know where US is going, first Trump accept a "free" very expensive airplane from Qatar and now signs a nuclear deal with US helping Saudi Arabia to start a nuclear program that could possibly give Saudi Arabia nuclear weapons in the future. Both these countries are Islamic dictatorships that practice sharia laws. Are these the new allies US is aiming for in the future since it has lost its former allies in the west?
