The world is pretending again not to see the dangerous parallels with history. In 1939, Hitler and Stalin signed a pact that paved the way for the partition of Poland. Europe had already seen how agreements between dictators end when the fate of other nations becomes a mere bargaining chip. Today, Ukraine is once again fighting for its right to exist, for its land, freedom, and future. And once again, statements arise that make us wonder: has the world really learned the lessons of World War II? Comparing Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin to Hitler and Stalin is a harsh political assessment. But the main question remains unchanged: can true peace be achieved if the fate of a nation is decided at the negotiating table without its consent? Ukraine is not a mere bargaining chip. It is not a territory that can be divided by third parties. It is not a people that can be ordered to renounce their freedom. Peace cannot mean capitulation. And history should not repeat itself simply because someone decided to forget its lessons. Ukraine has the right to a just peace, to security, and to its own future. (translated)
