And the penalty for such boycott could be the dropping of the Finnish team from the championship series. But this is the right thing to do regardless.

Finnish ice hockey federation decided that despite a ruling allowing Russian team to ice hockey championships, Finnish national team won't play against Russia as long as the war in Ukraine continues. This is big - ice hockey is probably the most watched sport in Finland. www.hs.fi/urheilu/art-...
