Gen Z helped organize and sustain enormous protest movements, including the George Floyd demonstrations and the Gaza campus protests. Depicting them as politically inert erases a substantial & exceptionally well-documented history of youth activism and also just fucking irritates me on their behalf.

There’s a bit more to the story which is that I ordered a pizza at the one place that allowed you to pay in Bitcoin, and a week later wrote a poem for some guy on Reddit in exchange for a bit of Dogecoin. I then entirely lost interest in the concept of cryptocurrency.
