My brave and honorable compatriots, Your resounding cries within Iran on the nights of February 14th and 15th, and your remarkable presence in the rallies of the February 14th Global Day of Action were a clear manifestation of our national unity. I salute you in Iran, who stand steadfast against the occupiers. I salute you—from Australia and New Zealand to London and Munich, from Toronto and Vancouver to Washington and Los Angeles—who became the external echo of Iran’s national Lion and Sun Revolution. You have given redoubled strength to our courageous compatriots in Iran; you have awakened the conscience of the world and made it more difficult to appease this criminal regime. With commendable discipline, in massive numbers, and with the utmost dignity and respect for your host countries, you proved that Iranians, wherever they may be in the world, are one united nation with one flag, one unwavering will, and one clear goal. You showed the world that the Iranian nation, unlike the ignoble and terrorist Islamic regime, is a great and civilized nation. It not only knows what it does not want, but clearly knows what it does want. Our struggle to overthrow the Islamic Republic and establish a national and democratic government is irreversible. Between us and this regime lies a sea of blood. The blood unjustly shed, and the tens of thousands of precious lives taken by the Zahhak of our time, Ali Khamenei, have become the driving force of a great resurrection and an unparalleled unity. Soon, like a powerful flood, it will wash away what remains of this criminal cult from the pure soil of Iran. We will continue this struggle with strength until the overthrow of this criminal regime and the expulsion of the occupiers from our beloved Iran; until the day every single criminal faces the consequences of their actions and the grieving families seeking justice achieve it. I sincerely thank all of you who responded to the call for the Global Day of Action. Your trust is my greatest asset, and I will dedicate it entirely to the path of Iran’s freedom. With my very life, I will remain by your side until our final victory. I believe that soon, we will celebrate freedom across all of Iran. Long live Iran! May the Lion and Sun Revolution of Iran be victorious! -

I was pleased to meet with President @ZelenskyyUa today in Munich. We each represent nations fighting threats to our freedom and sovereignty. The threat to Ukraine is foreign. The threat to Iran is domestic. Our nations and people are bonded by this and by their remarkable courage. We discussed our mutual support for the liberation of our respective nations and the fruitful collaboration we can build in the fight for freedom. I look forward to continuing to work with President Zelenskyy and am thankful for his support of the people of Iran. -

Iranians abroad and freedom-loving people around the world, February 14 is the Global Day of Action in solidarity with Iran’s Lion-and-Sun Revolution, a day to take to the streets and compel the international community to take urgent, practical steps in support of the Iranian people. Our six demands are clear: 1. Dismantle the regime’s machinery of repression and protect the people of Iran 2. Cut off the regime’s financial lifelines in full 3. Ensure free internet and communications for the people of Iran 4. Expel the regime’s "diplomats" and prosecute its criminals 5. Immediate release of all political prisoners 6. Prepare to recognize a legitimate transitional government to lead Iran toward democracy Munich, Los Angeles, and Toronto are the main gathering points. If you cannot travel, join protests in your own city and be the voice of Iran. The Islamic Republic’s occupying rule has tried to break our nation’s will through massacre and brutal violence. It has failed. These invading terrorists, alien to Iran, have slaughtered tens of thousands of brave Iranians and cut off the internet to hide their crimes. Yet the people of Iran still stand before bullets, raising the cry of freedom and love of country. The era of fear is over. The era of freedom is near. Iranians have risen. To those of you who believe in Iran’s freedom: on Saturday, February 14, rise in solidarity with the people of Iran. Your solidarity matters. When we stand united, governments are compelled to listen. History will remember those who stood with the Iranian people. Long live freedom. Long live Iran. Victory to Iran’s Lion-and-Sun Revolution. -

I welcome the EU’s decision to designate the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corp (IRGC) as a terrorist organization. This important step sends a message to the criminal regime that it has no global legitimacy. We now need further concrete action to protect the Iranian people and to support a legitimate transitional government leading Iran to democracy. -

I was pleased to meet with @MAStrackZi, the Chair of the European Parliament’s Defense and Security Committee to discuss the revolution in Iran. Her support for the Iranian people and her recognition of the malign role of the current regime is deeply appreciated. We discussed the change a liberated Iran would bring to Europe: Instead of causing massive migration though its proxy wars, a free Iran would stabilize the region and allow refugees to return home. Instead of taking Europeans hostage and plotting terror in Europe, a free Iran would become a true partner for commerce and trade. Instead of supplying drones to murder innocent civilians, a free Iran would be a supplier of oil and gas to Europe. I reiterated that if Europe and European nations enact the six policies we have announced and do more than stand but act urgently in support of the brave people of Iran, that day will be soon. -

Dear Iranians abroad, Your large and remarkable marches in recent days, in all corners of the world, from Australia to across Europe, to Canada and the United States, have given strength and hope to our brave compatriots in our occupied homeland. Your voice is the voice of the Iranian nation. I am grateful and appreciative. Today, at a time when the Islamic Republic, through ruthless killings and martial law, has raised the cost of people taking to the streets in Iran, your responsibility to rally international support for our compatriots is heavier than ever. The importance of your role is greater than at any time before. The continuation of your activities is necessary and essential, and they must be broader, more coordinated, more cohesive, and more purpose-driven. As I announced at my recent press conference in Washington, we have six current demands of the international community. All activities by Iranians abroad, whether gatherings, sit-ins, and marches, or engagement and correspondence with decision-makers and lawmakers, or informing the public through the media and online networks, must be focused around these six demands: i) Protect the people of Iran by weakening the regime’s machinery of repression, especially by targeting the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), its commanders, its command structure, and its infrastructure. ii) Maximum economic pressure by blocking the regime’s assets around the world and targeting its clandestine network of oil tankers, known as the “shadow fleet.” iii) Provide internet for Iran through Starlink and other secure communications tools, and disable the regime’s ability to shut down the internet. iv) Expel the regime’s diplomats and pursue legal action against perpetrators of crimes against humanity. v) The immediate and unconditional release of all political prisoners. vi) Prepare for a democratic transition in Iran and recognize a legitimate transitional government. I ask all of you to remain united under Iran’s Lion and Sun flag, a flag that tens of thousands of brave Iranians have sacrificed their lives to raise again. Set aside personal differences. Avoid parallel efforts and separate programs in the same city. Align and coordinate your efforts so they are more effective. Remember that, in the eyes of the world, you are representatives of the great Iranian nation. Your conduct must be worthy, civilized, and consistent with the ethics and culture of Iran. My team and I are closely following your coordinated activities. Soon, programs related to the “Global Day of Action and Solidarity with Iran’s National Uprising” will be announced. The eyes of our honorable compatriots in Iran, who are bound under the occupying regime of the Islamic Republic, are on us. Let us join hands so their suffering may end sooner, and so they may reach the day of freedom and prosperity they deserve. That day is closer than ever. Long live Iran! -
