What is talking about? Plymouth is clearly not Portsmouth and Portsmouth hosts tops 20- 30 very small fishing vessels- and clearly Plymouth is clued- up to a charlatan. As unfortunately, Farage would be welcomed in Portsmouth.

That's what happens when you host your rally in the same building as the annual Vegan society general meeting.

Reform holding a a rally in Plymouth right now is one of the all-time great high-wire acts.

Reform fans booing the fishing fleet (because boats i dunno?), or people at the rally booing Farage for how fishing has done since brexit?

It's coming to something when even Spin̈al Tap plan their gigs better than Nigel.

I wonder how many of the RNLI botherers are in the audience?

As a Plymothian who's lived away from the city a long time I can tell you that most of the population of the UK seems to think Plymouth is Portsmouth

Tbf noone wants to admit they are in plymouth. But unusual presence of mind from the crowd.

Not that I want to be fair to Farage, but it's not as if we're not commonly confused with Portsmouth - despite being about 170 miles apart. Gets very wearing.

What did he do next, declare his undying love of Exeter City?

I'm from Plymouth and that would have went down like a bowl of cold sick.

He does know that the Royal Navy isn't a fishing fleet doesn't he?

That’ll be the one hobbled by Brexit. Although to be fair there’s not exactly many fish left.

For the ferry to Spain, it's Plymouth till the end of this month, then Portsmouth till sometime in March.

Look, they begin with the same letter. For Farage that's practically a gold star achievement.

These people are dumber than a bag of spanners. It's frightening that they get to vote.

The Royal Navy takes a no nonsense approach to fishing. The fish don’t stand a chance.

A big fishing fleet of maybe half a dozen crab and shrimp boats.

Quick check on the figures - circa 11k fishermen in 2018. Circa 6k today.
