Rubén Pulido stated that Morocco had accepted voluntary returns weeks earlier, as long as they were not massive. He maintained that, two months after what he described as an invasion, Moroccan authorities allowed several buses to drop off hundreds of returning people to avoid being registered. He questioned what had motivated the change, what concession had been made, and how far the conversations between the two parties, which he referred to in insulting terms, had gone. He also pointed out that, in his opinion, there was a background that no one was looking at. #Marruecos #Inmigración #Política (translated)

Rubén Pulido wrote that more than 1,000 Moroccans had returned to Morocco that day and said he would give his opinion on the matter. https://t.co/XLKzTvzFcY https://t.co/fQkSIWGjSt #Marruecos #Retorno #Opinión (translated)

Rubén Pulido wrote that the eviction of much of the Trampolín Beach was close to concluding and that some people were trying to avoid police control. Citing police sources, he pointed out that at least two individuals were being sought, that approximately 1,000 had agreed to return voluntarily to avoid being identified, and that around 2,000 still remained between Trampolín and El Guano. He added that residents claimed that hundreds remained hidden in different areas of Ceuta. #Ceuta #Desalojo #Invasores (translated)

Rubén Pulido wrote that, after the partial evacuation was completed, the demolition of part of the settlement at the Trampolín Beach had begun. He added that much of the occupation remained on the other side and questioned whether this time the resettlement of those who, he said, were still hiding in various points of Ceuta would be avoided. #Ceuta #Demolición #Okupación (translated)

Rubén Pulido wrote that, in Ceuta, while one sector of Playa del Trampolín faced a partial eviction, those at the other end were observing the situation. He pointed out that they knew not everyone would be evicted and that the measures would again be temporary, so their turn would take time to arrive. He added that some would no longer be there because not everyone wanted to be identified. #Ceuta #Desalojo #Playas (translated)

Rubén Pulido wrote that the partial eviction of the Trampolín Beach in Ceuta continued and stated that the Maritime Service of the Civil Guard and the Special Underwater Activities Group (GEAS) had to intervene when numerous people fled to avoid being identified, at 00:55 minutes. He added that evictions were not taking place at the end of the beach known as the Guano area and estimated that about 1,000 people remained settled there. #Ceuta #Inmigración #Desalojo (translated)

Rubén Pulido stated that, two months after his warning, the situation in Ceuta remained unresolved. He claimed that the Government was only relocating migrants, closing the perimeter of the beaches, and promoting voluntary returns, which, according to him, affected an insignificant proportion of those still in the city. He also pointed out that the arrival of boats to the Canary Islands was once again increasing exponentially and that Melilla remained in the spotlight. Pulido questioned whether Morocco was a "strategic partner," referring to the state of the Trampolín beach, and said that Spain had the opportunity to respond but had not done so. #Ceuta #Inmigración #CrisisMigratoria (translated)

Rubén Pulido wrote that, while the people of Ceuta were suffering the consequences of what he described as an "invasion" of Ceuta, TVE was talking about penthouses and Mari Carmen. He stated that this distraction was working very well and criticized others for continuing to address the issue despite knowing it was a smokescreen. He added that, in his opinion, the left played better in that arena. #Ceuta #Invasión #Política (translated)

Rubén Pulido questioned the role of NGOs and argued that systems of institutionalized trafficking contributed to perpetuating the situation. He stated that the government fed these systems by outsourcing the management of what he described as an "invasion" to a small group of entities that, according to him, depended on the illegal influx not being stopped. He also presented philanthropy as an industry linked to trafficking. #ONG #filantropía #justiciaSocial (translated)

I am informed that these police vehicles are on their way to Ceuta. It is likely that in the next few hours the eviction of Playa del Trampolín will be carried out. The question is: what will this eviction trigger? Will they be sent back or will it cause a stampede throughout the city? We will see… https://t.co/UWCRbnPFyF #Ceuta #desalojo #PlayaDelTrampolín (translated)
