Jan Eichler said that Adam Jiříček was supposed to debut in the NHL that day in the first defensive pair and in the second power play unit. He noted that Jiříček's parents were already on site and that the player informed them of the news over the phone, which they initially considered a joke. Coach Monty, according to Eichler, said that one cannot prepare for the NHL level, but there is no point in waiting because Jiříček likes the opportunity and will get it that very day. Eichler wished him good luck. #NHL #debut #hokej (translated)
