Žiga Turk expressed outrage at the decision of the Constitutional Court, which he understood as a further distancing of Slovenia from capitalism and a free market economy. He stated that the court assessed that the interference with the contractual freedom of employers is justified by the public interest related to the protection of workers and the improvement of their social position. Turk argued that the court, in its assessment of mandatory Christmas bonuses, compared the benefits to employees with an abstract limitation of contractual freedom of employers, without also considering whether the money would benefit companies for further investments. He estimated that the decision undermines the trust of domestic and foreign investors in the safety of property in Slovenia, as in his opinion, politically appointed judges could decide who should receive the money. #Slovenija #kapitalizem #gospodarstvo (translated)

Katja Kokot wrote that she does not care if she faces criticism for her views and agreed with the woman whose name was not mentioned. She believed that religions or cults that force women into marriages, require them to cover their bodies, or separate people by gender are unacceptable. She added that in her opinion, no religion should be the cause of wars, rapes, slavery, or executions. She called for society to move forward in the 21st century and urged women to take off the scarves from their heads, as this piece of cloth was meant to separate "yours and ours." #enakopravnost #ženske #svoboda (translated)

Jože Možina wrote that RTV Slovenia and Odmevi, in his opinion, inadequately reported on that day in the trial. He praised the mention of the new attack by Svetlana Makarovič on the journalist, while also claiming that the media had omitted his arguments about delays. He added that he had been the target of attacks because of broadcasts on TVS, and accused Rosvita Pesek of attributing a mild insult to Makarovič that she did not utter, while ignoring more serious insults. He questioned on whose behalf the media reports in this way, and wrote that this reminded him of a saying about friends and enemies. #mediji #sojenje #novinarstvo (translated)

This is a stroke of luck. Citizens who use the highways every day are lucky because Asta and her colleagues with red paddles in the government are no more. We will build. We will expand the highways from Postojna, Vodice, Blagovica, and Ivančna Gorica towards Ljubljana. The third lane will be between Koseze and Kozarje and on the southern and eastern Ljubljana bypass. #avtoceste #gradnja #Ljubljana (translated)

#Trump #XiJinping #SADKina
