Gen stated that, under Di Carlo's management, the team had suffered a series of bad results which he attributed to the incompetence of its leaders. He pointed out that in less than a year they lost three derbies, set a historical record for consecutive defeats, and were eliminated from the Libertadores 2026 for the first time in years; he also predicted that they would probably not compete in the next edition either. He also described the performances in the Argentine Cup and the South American Cup as shameful, stating that the club had let a final slip away in Córdoba and wasted hundreds of millions of dollars. He added that the management had dismissed two coaches, turned to someone who was not one, and improvised in the renewal of the squad. Gen rejected the notion that it was bad luck and described the events as a series of mistakes that, as he wrote, evidenced the absence of direction, leadership, and a footballing project. Finally, he urgently called for elections and warned that the damage could be irreparable. #Fútbol #CrisisDeportivo #EleccionesUrgentes (translated)
