After the 2-0 defeat of Juventus against Genoa, Luca Toselli reiterated that he considered the team the worst in the last 20 years and described it as low level. He accused Luciano Spalletti of being complicit in the situation and claimed that he should have sent a signal to the players by substituting Cambiaso with Pagnucco and introducing youth from the academy. Toselli also criticized a play by Kalulu, which he judged to be the worst he had ever seen from a Juventus defender, and stated that the team even lacked commitment. According to him, Spalletti was part of the group and the players were not working against him; he added that the team was beyond recovery and that resignation would have been the only honorable choice. Toselli said that Antonio Conte would do well to stay away from Juventus, although he admitted he was intrigued by the idea of a coach capable of imposing himself with toughness. He further criticized the team's reactions after the 2-2 draw with Rennes and the 0-2 defeat against Lecce, which he called even worse than Juventus. He concluded by saying that if he could, he would have sacked the coach and also dismissed the players. #GenoaJuve #Juventus #Calcio #SerieA (translated)
