A train carrying propane derailed this morning in eastern Connecticut, causing a shelter-in-place order to be issued for houses around the derailment zone.

"Almost immediately, investigators observed multiple refrigerators, a freezer, and other laboratory-type equipment along with numerous bottles and jugs containing unknown liquid substances," authorities added, noting a direct connection to a previous case Over 1,000 samples of potentially hazardous materials were recovered from a Las Vegas home over the weekend.

Federal agents and Las Vegas police are investigating a suspected biolab at a northeast Las Vegas residence. The FBI and the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police (LVMPD) Department carried out a search warrant on the house between Saturday and Monday, when they found potentially hazardous substances stored in the garage.
