For a long time, I carried a silent desire, almost a mission hidden in the depths of my soul: to turn the story of Jair Messias Bolsonaro into a movie. Even before there was a script, camera, or crew, I was certain that the world needed to see who he really is — not the character defamed by the media, but the man who changed the axis of Brazilian politics. This project was not born out of an opportunity. It was born out of a conviction. From the certainty that this trajectory could not be restricted to distorted headlines, much less to history books that turn heroes into villains. This story deserved to be told with truth, courage, and respect for the impact it had — and still has — on the lives of millions of Brazilians. I dreamed of this because I understood that Bolsonaro is not just a chapter in our politics. He is a turning point. And the world needs to know this story.
