Nikop17 believed that PSG's first period against Manchester City confirmed the team's plan, which he considered similar to that of the previous two seasons: managing preparation and physical condition until January, then ramping up from the round of 16 in the Champions League. He wrote that almost no PSG player had yet played 90 minutes of high-intensity football, unlike some teams already in full swing, and that this approach had paid off for three years. He also claimed that PSG was selecting its matches and that Luis Enrique would use Ligue 1 as a tactical laboratory in the coming months. According to him, the team needed to ensure the essentials, stay in touch with competitors, and accelerate if necessary to win the championship, with the Champions League remaining the top priority. Finally, Nikop17 praised Luis Enrique's work and the collective coordination of the players, particularly in their movements, pressing, and organization without the ball. He criticized some commentators for focusing on the coach's opinion regarding sanctions against Manchester City or on his management of the Ballon d'Or's playing time, rather than analyzing PSG's game. #PSG #MCIPSG #LuisEnrique https://t.co/AAC8TTbzoy #PSG #LigueDesChampions #LuisEnrique (translated)

Messiah Yaniss believed that Luis Enrique's PSG was among the greatest teams in history and had all the assets to dominate modern football. He praised their ability to build the game, press, quickly regain possession, and counter-attack. He specifically mentioned Dembélé as a false nine, Ruiz in midfield, Nuno Mendes and Hakimi on the wings, as well as Pacho, whom he described as valuable in a context where great defenders were rare. According to him, the team's collective intelligence allowed its players to occupy different positions and move across the pitch. He added that replacing Kvaratskhelia with Akliouche or Neves with Warren Zaïre-Emery would not change the team's play style. He also described Doué as a player suited for modern football, capable of adapting to various roles, and then praised PSG and Luis Enrique while mentioning the possibility of a third consecutive title. #PSG #Football #LuisEnrique (translated)
