MUSICTRENDS Colombia reported that the Rock al Parque festival had reached its maximum capacity for that holiday Monday and that no more people would be allowed to enter. https://t.co/JlDUXHCdfx #rockalparque #festival #aforo (translated)
Mafe Carrascal Rojas described Rock al Parque as a pride and heritage of Bogotá and said she attended the celebration of its 30th anniversary, where she felt moved but also concerned about safety. She stated that she submitted several requests for information to the administration of Carlos Fernando Galán to ask, among other issues, why the doors were not closed if, as she wrote, 90,000 people were expected and 290,000 entered, and the logistics were insufficient. She said she hoped to receive answers soon. Carrascal maintained that a free event of that magnitude should have security measures and risk and emergency management, and she described as regrettable what, according to her, the attendees saw and experienced. https://t.co/dUZU0O7yDU #RockAlParque #SeguridadCiudadana #DerechosHumanos (translated)
