Actu Foot reported that RC Lens had closed its visiting fans' area for the derby in Lille scheduled for Friday, after incidents in Bruges in the Champions League. According to the report, UEFA had recorded 132 pyrotechnic devices, projectiles thrown onto the field and at supporters — including people with reduced mobility — as well as a steward injured by fireworks. Actu Foot also indicated that UEFA had sanctioned Lens by closing its areas in Leipzig and Liverpool. The club denounced a "red line" crossed and believed that the safety of individuals had been endangered. It also announced plans to systematically file individual complaints when possible. #RCLens #LigueDesChampions #SécuritéStadium (translated)
