Bonifacio Castellane 3d

Bonifacio Castellane responded to what Umberto Galimberti had said in a conference about the alleged recent discovery of the private correspondence of Saint Anselm, which supposedly contained homosexual and pornographic content. According to Castellane, the letters had been known for five centuries, many had been published by Saint Anselm himself, and the complete and official critical edition dated back to 1950. He added that there were no homosexual references in the correspondence, only affectionate expressions modeled on Cicero. Castellane also accused Galimberti of taking on the role of the parish priest who, in the taverns of 1911, invented stories to astonish the peasants. #UmbertoGalimberti #SantAnselmo #storia (translated)
