I believe the UN must abolish the Security Council's veto power. I believe scrapping the veto privilege must be both the starting point and the key strategic objective of any meaningful reform. I believe reform cannot mean extending the same privilege to other states. I believe that in today’s world lasting peace cannot be built by multiplying separate blocs that are cut off from each other and do not talk to one another. For a 'fairer world', we must bring together the experience, capacity and will of different regions on common ground.
