Russian military satellite Kosmos 2612 is now closely shadowing ICEYE-X36, a radar satellite supporting Ukraine, after maneuvering into nearly the same orbit. Such proximity could allow Russia to monitor or interfere with transmissions and potentially position itself for an anti-satellite operation

A recently observed maneuver of the Russian military satellite Cosmos 2612 near the western reconnaissance satellite ICEYE-X36 raises concerns that the war in Ukraine could now also be fought in space, as Russia considers commercial satellites that support Ukraine as legitimate military targets. #Satellitenkrieg #UkraineKrieg #Weltraumabwehr (translated)

"Before our eyes, the Kremlin is testing us in orbit. The Russian military satellite KOSMOS 2612 is currently 1-2 km away from ICEYE-X36 (...). This is very concerning," reports Kijek, quoting the comment of well-known astrophysicist Jonathan McDowell. #satellity #Rosja #wojna (translated)

Teresa Gómez stated that Sánchez was confident about winning the elections and remaining in power, as she claimed he had an ace up his sleeve. She wrote that The Objective had published evidence of an alleged fraud of "extraordinary gravity" and asserted that her colleague Isabel Durán had done commendable work investigating it. Gómez said that Sánchez had deployed Tezanos at the CIS to inflate the polls and justify the fraud, and Gabilondo, as the Ombudsman, to convey a resolution from the Supreme Court that, according to her, would allow Pumpido to complete "the coup." She added that the investigation was not over and that they would publish more cases, information, and evidence that week. She also defended that journalists should oversee the power and expose possible abuses. #Democracia #FraudeElectoral #PeriodismoInvestigativo (translated)

The Chairwoman wrote that Piotr W., whom she referred to as a hero from Resspublika, was lucky to have only fallen during the clash with the Polish police. She suggested that in a similar situation in the USA he could have been killed, and rhetorically asked whether Dominik Tarczyński would then have written "Good Job ICE!" and "FAFO." #Polska #policja #bezpieczeństwo (translated)

This afternoon's orbital data suggests - subject to confirmation - that Russia's Kosmos-2612 has carried out a rendezvous with the US ICEYE X36 radar sat, within a few km. To my knowledge this is the first LEO rendezvous of two active sats where the owner of one of the sats did not give approval.

Nachez wrote that Honda had practically lost two years in the development of its Formula 1 engine. According to him, Watanabe acknowledged that the company decided to return a year later and took too long to rebuild its workforce. He also pointed out that Honda prioritized the electric part, which delayed the internal combustion engine, and that later budget and work hour restrictions prevented it from regaining lost ground. Nachez attributed the information to Motorsport Japan. #F1 #Honda #Motorsport (translated)
