Že peníze umí vydělávat peníze. A že když něco nekoupím dnes, můžu si to za pár let koupit víckrát. Zmrzlina koupená dneska je jedna zmrzlina. Ta samá stovka odložená a rozumně uložená vám může za pár let kupovat zmrzlinu každý měsíc. Tak sdílím, jak to děláme u nás: 1. Kapesné, i když ho dítě nepotřebuje Bez vlastních peněz se nedá nic naučit. Naše děti mají 300 Kč měsíčně. Symbolicky, žádné pravidelné výdaje nemají. Můžou si ji vzít v hotovosti, nebo uložit u mě v Tatabance na 3 % měsíčně. Vedou si k tomu ručně tabulku. Kolik měly na začátku, kolik vložily nebo vybraly, kolik přibylo na úroku, kolik mají na konci. Syn si do Tatabanky rovnou přesypal všechno, co měl našetřené. Dcera to nejdřív odmítala. Pak jsme jednou u stolu počítali jeho úroky a ona se zvědavě dívala. Otočil se na ni a řekl jí: „Podívej se, o kolik přicházíš." Tak přinesla kasičku. Od té doby úročí taky. 2. Hrajeme si na investory Když v Tatabance přibylo peněz, změnil jsem pravidla. Fixní 3 % platí do tří tisíc. Co je nad, to jdeme „zainvestovat". A výnos každý měsíc určí hod dvěma kostkami. Padne dvojka, minus 3 %. Padne dvanáctka, plus 5 %. Nejdřív přijde vyjednávání ve stylu „To přece nemyslíš vážně!" Pak pochopení, že takhle se to venku chová taky. 3. Vlastní účet, vlastní peníze, vlastní chyby Kolem patnácti, když si syn začal vydělávat na brigádách, jsem mu řekl, že tohle už mu úročit nebudu. Otevřel jsem vedle svého druhý investiční účet. Jeho peníze, jeho pokyny. Já vidím na jeho, on na můj ne. Patnáctiletého člověka nezajímá, co peníze udělají za deset let. Zajímá ho, co udělaly za deset minut. Posloužily i kryptoměny jako takový zrychlený kurz kolísavosti. Chvíli zkoušel i vlastní teze. Hrál hru od Ubisoftu, akcie vypadaly na odpis, chystali nový titul, tak to koupil. Sám pak dorazil k tomu, že nejjednodušší je držet široké ETF. K tomuhle závěru se dá dojít ve dvaceti za pár tisíc, nebo v padesáti za pár milionů. A jedna věc, na kterou se v rodinách zapomíná. Ať vidí i utrácení. Šetříme na dovolenou, dovolenou si dopřejeme, na účtu je zase nula a začínáme znovu. Jinak z nich vyroste někdo, kdo umí majetek hromadit a neumí si ho užít. Těch, kteří jedou v režimu Pac-Man na skóre potkávám hodně. Není to raketová věda. Hlavně začít brzo, nespoléhat na školy a nechat je dělat chyby, dokud jsou levné.
