Kudela the G.O.A.T. described Tomáš Chorý's first season at Slavia as the hardest in terms of pressure, but he believed the player handled it excellently. He credited him with a key role in winning the title after three years, including goals and contributions to the game, and stated that he didn't cause any problems at that time. He couldn't understand why Chorý started behaving like he did in Plzeň in his second season and came under pressure again. The author recalled the May incident in the derby, after which, according to him, the locker room, the owner, and some fans defended Chorý. He wrote that the player turned his back on the people who supported him in the summer when he showed his middle finger to referee Všetečka. According to the author, for a significantly worse verbal insult, he would likely only have received a yellow card, and the chosen gesture could have ended his tenure in "the most ridiculous way" he had ever seen. Kudela the G.O.A.T. stated that Chorý's possible lapses deprived him of the chance to be the king of the league and wrote that it should be his end at Slavia. According to him, the end of his tenure would close a chapter that had divided the Slavia fans for two and a half years. He wished Slavia good luck in selecting a new striker in the winter transfer window. #SlaviaPraha #fotbal #Chorý (translated)

Aija Kaija wrote that after treatment at the Oncology Center, she was discharged from the hospital on Wednesday, although it was initially planned for Tuesday. According to her, the doctors wanted to perform a lung CT scan. Kaija emphasized that the medical staff at the Riga East Clinical University Hospital (RAKUS) had been careful and professional in her experience. She noted that she received her last brachytherapy procedure on Tuesday, and this time it was easier, thanks to a different anesthesiologist and the removal of instruments by her treating doctor. Kaija advised patients to discuss the use of sedatives and painkillers with their doctors. She also expressed concern for elderly Silvija, who, as Kaija wrote, could not use either chemotherapy or anesthesia during brachytherapy due to heart failure. Kaija also mentioned a woman over 70 years old with stage 4 cervical cancer and a second recurrence. Kaija wrote that her doctors Māra and Zane were satisfied with the treatment results. Zane, according to Kaija, noted that in her experience, patients with similar indicators had recurrence of cancer in less than 10% of cases within a few years. However, whether the cancer has completely disappeared, Kaija wrote, she would find out in three months. She warned that, in her opinion, a break in chemotherapy significantly increases the risk of recurrence and that treatment should be carried out according to the plan. Kaija shared that her friend Sabīne has to stay longer in the hospital during treatment and has settled in Kaija's private room. Kaija noted that the cost per day has increased from 25 to 33 euros. She wrote that Sabīne would not be able to go home on weekends because getting sick during the virus season could interfere with treatment. Regarding her own well-being, Kaija wrote that she feels a pronounced fatigue and lack of energy after therapy, also experiencing menopausal symptoms at the age of 42. She expressed sadness over the fact that she will no longer be able to have children and said she would soon share news about the tests that will show whether the cancer has been overcome. #onkoloģija #veselība #dzīve (translated)

Jiří Vítek stated that Sparta can expect more from Vojtěch Hradec than he is currently capable of offering. Although Patrik Augusta knows him well from the junior national team, Vítek pointed out that two years have passed since then, which is a long time at this age. Vítek reminded that the club expects contributions from Hradec in defense, on face-offs, and during penalty kills. According to him, in the extra league, he has a success rate below 50 percent on face-offs, and Vítek was uncertain whether his movement corresponds to the active style of penalty killing that Ladislav Šmíd is trying to instill in the team. In offense, he believes Hradec mainly offers work in front of the opponent's goal; in Mladá Boleslav, he was rarely involved in the transition phase and preparing chances for his teammates. Vítek also wrote that Mladá Boleslav conceded a high number of goals against Hradec on the ice during five-on-five play in the last two seasons. While observing the player, Hradec came across more as a blocking type than as someone who excels in defensive zone awareness, especially against the best opposing formations. According to Vítek, Sparta has strengthened itself with a talent for the future rather than a player who would immediately solve problems in the third or fourth line. Hradec will need time and the right care, which, according to Vítek, may not align with the environment of Sparta, which wants to succeed right away. Ambitious teams, in his view, should have players with a broader skill set even in the fourth line if they wish to succeed in the later stages of the playoffs. He described Hradec as a younger alternative to Kryštof Hrabík, on whom there will still be a need to work. He also expressed concern that Sparta was attracted by his fistfight with Witkowski in the game against Kometa. #hokej #Sparta #extraliga (translated)
