I had a very good phone call with President Trump, in which I congratulated the US on its 250th birthday and discussed the current situation on the front lines. There is a real prospect of ending the conflict, and we agreed to continue our talks during the upcoming NATO Summit in Ankara.

Every day we implement our plan for applying Ukraine’s long-range sanctions. This is a completely fair response to everything Russia is doing against us.

I think a week would be enough for him to do this. And the reason I say a week is because right now, every day, our civilians are dying and children are being wounded because of this. If he doesn’t do it, we will.

We value every expression of support from Belarusians for a free Ukraine, and we know that the day will come when good-neighbourly relations between our states are restored on the basis of the genuine independence of both Ukraine and Belarus from Moscow. Ukraine has never been a threat to Belarus. The de facto leadership of Belarus must stay on its toes, that is, clearly understand that there will be consequences if aggressive actions against Ukraine, against our people, are taken.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy: I thank the warriors of the Unmanned Systems Forces and the Special Operations Forces for their precision.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy: Our long-range capabilities are significantly changing the situation — and, more broadly, the world’s perception of Russia’s war.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy: In particular, Russia is considering plans for operations in the southern and northern directions from the territory of Belarus — either against the Chernihiv-Kyiv direction in Ukraine or against one of the NATO countries — precisely from the territory of Belarus.

Our team is now on its way to the Gulf region, where they can help protect lives and stabilize the situation. We see the challenges that exist now: the Iranian regime has effectively blocked the Strait of Hormuz – one of the main routes for supplying oil and gas to the global market. This is a major source of instability. No one in the world can yet say how long all of this will last, but it is important that the protection of life starts working effectively as soon as possible. Stability is important for us as well. Those now seeking Ukraine’s help must continue to assist our own defense – first and foremost, our air defense. Last year we already proposed a drone agreement to the United States. This is the right way forward: to partner with us in the production and use of drones, and everyone now sees that there is no alternative to this approach. Ukraine has the greatest experience in the world in countering attack drones, and without our experience it will be very difficult for the Gulf region, the entire Middle East, and partners in Europe and America to build strong protection. -

Thank you to Japan – our great supporter and a true leader in protecting life, both in its region and globally. From the very first day of Russia’s full-scale invasion, Japan has stood with Ukraine and provided meaningful support to our people. It was a pleasure to speak with the Prime Minister @takaichi_sanae after her appointment. We highly value our partnership and look forward to welcoming the Prime Minister to Ukraine at a convenient time. -

We are expanding joint production of drones to defend against Russian attacks today and to defend and deter in the future. Yesterday, four framework defense agreements were signed — two between Ukraine and Finland, one between Ukraine and Denmark, and one between Ukraine and Latvia. These Build With Ukraine joint production initiatives help lay the foundation for a truly self-reliant European defense industrial base that will strengthen our shared security in the future. We encourage other partners to join these efforts by making contributions through the SAFE program to scale up joint production even more. This will not only enhance our collective security now, but also enable future exports after the war. I am grateful to everyone helping strengthen our shared security. -
