A good meeting with President Trump at the Oval Office. Thank you for everything we do together to protect the lives of Ukrainians and advance peace. The President and I discussed licenses for Patriot interceptor production and several other ideas that could help. We also spoke about diplomacy – it’s important that the diplomatic process be reinvigorated. Our teams will arrange the details of their further communication. I am grateful to the United States for its firm support.

Last night, our long-range sanctions were effective in the Rostov region. An export terminal approximately 250 kilometres from the front line was hit. Deep strikes also targeted oil facilities in the Yaroslavl region and the Udmurt Republic, which is 1,300 kilometres from Ukraine's state border.

I had a very good phone call with President Trump, in which I congratulated the US on its 250th birthday and discussed the current situation on the front lines. There is a real prospect of ending the conflict, and we agreed to continue our talks during the upcoming NATO Summit in Ankara.

We value every expression of support from Belarusians for a free Ukraine, and we know that the day will come when good-neighbourly relations between our states are restored on the basis of the genuine independence of both Ukraine and Belarus from Moscow. Ukraine has never been a threat to Belarus. The de facto leadership of Belarus must stay on its toes, that is, clearly understand that there will be consequences if aggressive actions against Ukraine, against our people, are taken.
