Atualizei na minha live da última semana que ao longo dos últimos meses, mantive contato frequente com a diretoria do Flamengo com o objetivo de confirmar informações antes da publicação e evitar a divulgação de rumores sem fundamento. A relação comigo aqui com vocês, sempre foi pautada pelo respeito, objetividade e pelo compromisso com a apuração responsável. Durante esse período, grande parte das conversas girou em torno de especulações do mercado da bola e que eu não irei ficar aqui só desmentindo informação de colegas ou vindo com informações só para iludir o torcedor. Ontem aqui, algumas pessoas não entenderam quando eu disse sobre a negociação em andamento com um atacante, levaram como algo óbvio, mas não é. O Flamengo conversa e negocia com um atacante, não é apenas um interesse, é uma negociação em sigilo com um jogador que é carência desde a saída de Gabigol lá no fim de 2024. Se fosse algo óbvio, é claro que não publicaria sobre. Não é chute e nem achismo, é uma negociação em andamento. Por fim, diversos nomes que circularam na imprensa nacional e internacional eu levei diretamente aos dirigentes para confirmação. Em praticamente todos esses casos, a diretoria negou o interesse do Flamengo em quase todos especulados, deixando claro que os nomes em negociação não estão nem perto de serem descorbertos. O primeiro contato do Flamengo por Paquetá ocorreu algo próximo no fim de de dezembro e vazou somente quase 3 semanas depois. Essa diretoria trabalha mais em silêncio, o dever do jornalista é apurar, faz parte do jogo.
