NIC NEVIM stated that the market is beginning to sober up from expectations related to the construction of data centers and the purchase of expensive chips and memory. According to him, the demand for capital is extraordinarily high, while the available money is running out. At OpenAI, he mentioned annualized revenues of $50 billion, but also stated that the company is still losing money due to high model training costs. He believes that the growth in revenues at this stage does not indicate long-term profitability. According to him, companies and individuals are now experimenting with AI and spending on tokens, but often do not yet see corresponding economic returns. If this does not change quickly, he believes it will be difficult to justify further extensive investments in infrastructure. He added that the costs must eventually be paid by someone, and end consumers do not currently have enough money for that. #ekonomika #uměláinteligence #datacentra (translated)

Andrej Fiskovec wrote that the U.S. Department of Treasury allowed the import of Russian diesel fuel into the United States until April of next year. He claimed that the Russians killed 22 people including five children the day before yesterday and yesterday an airstrike hit two buses, killing another 30 people. He described the offer from the Russian dictator to Donald as ridiculous. According to Fiskovec, 300,000 tons of diesel fuel represented about 2.2 million barrels, which is half of a one-day consumption for the U.S. He stated that American consumers would not feel the change, but the administration could use it as a reason to lift additional sanctions. #Rusko #Sankce #Politika (translated)

Burger King teď roste v USA o 8,5%, Taco Bell o 7%. McDonald’s stagnuje a dokonce se čeká mírný propad. Akcie spadly o 30%. Hodně špatný byznys v tomto období. Obrovská konkurence, rostoucí náklady a zákazníci půjdou primárně po ceně. #inflace #McDonalds #akcie

Mimořádný příspěvek důchodcům není žádný „dárek“ od Andreje Babiše. Zaplatili jste si ho vy, ze svých daní. Zaplatili ho vaši sousedé ze svých odvodů. A protože vláda zároveň zvyšuje deficit, zaplatí ho jednou i vaše děti ze svých budoucích příjmů. Není to „ten hodný pán, který lidem přidává peníze“. Je to vypočítavý kalkul politického marketingu. Rozdávají naše vlastní peníze, a mají tu drzost nám to prodávat jako jejich práci? To nemyslíte vážně! Nenechme se, prosím, oklamat. A mimochodem: fiskální stimul ve výši 10 miliard korun do spotřebitelské poptávky v současné ekonomické situaci podle mě nemůže přinést nic dobrého. Ani vyšší produktivitu, ani větší bohatství země. Maximálně tak hlasy politikům. A k tomu vyšší ceny nebo vyšší zisky zahraničních firem z dovozu. :D V politice se k podobným krokům nikdy nesnížím. #politika #ekonomie #důchody
