This man is a hero. Captain Smit Machchhar, Indian, and captain of flydubai 1073, did not give up after the knife attack in the cockpit. Although he was severely injured, he was able to unlock the cockpit door. Israeli passengers and the Emirati crew were then able to intervene and save everyone on board. Together, with their extraordinary courage, they saved 174 lives. Indian. Israelis. Emiratis. Different nationalities. One incredible act of courage. 🇮🇳🇮🇱🇦🇪 We wish Captain Machchhar a swift and complete recovery. ❤️ (translated)
