Announcement from the Ministry of National Defense - In connection with the information appearing in the media about the alleged presence of a drone over the American base in Poland, we inform that a civilian, unmanned aerial vehicle was detected about 1 km from the base in Redzikowo, and it did not pose any threat to the base facilities and was continuously monitored by military air defense systems. The drone did not operate over the base, but its flight was conducted in violation of the zone where the operation of unmanned aerial vehicles is prohibited. The drone was detected, and the location from which the drone operator was operating was also identified. In accordance with the applicable procedures in the Armed Forces of the Republic of Poland, the incident has been reported to the relevant institutions and services, including the Police.
