Pier Ferdinando Casini

I have decided: in the next political elections, after 44 years, I will not run for re-election. Pier Ferdinando Casini is leaving Parliament, definitively. "I have decided: in the next political elections, after 44 years, I will not run for re-election," the senator confessed in an interview with Corriere della Sera, thanking all his voters for the trust that has been granted to him so far. #Casini #Parlamento #Politica (translated)

I am truly grateful for this trust, but on the eve of an electoral process that promises to be long and complicated, my thoughts are simple and clear: new times require personalities more in tune with the political formations that will present themselves to the voters. It is right that my path stops here. Casini thanks the center-left that has supported him for the last ten years as an independent senator and explains the reasons for his choice: "I am truly grateful for this trust, but on the eve of an electoral process that promises to be long and complicated, my thoughts are simple and clear: new times require personalities more in tune with the political formations that will present themselves to the voters. It is right that my path stops here." #Casini #Politica #DemocraziaLiberale (translated)
