Alcatraz recalled that, a month earlier, Alcaraz had lost to Shelton in the quarterfinals of the US Open, in a match he had the chance to win. He wrote that instead of getting frustrated, he left smiling and convinced that he was on the right track. He added that that day he had won a title again and described his mentality as being "on another level." https://t.co/GO1JGRRSmp #Alcaraz #Tenis #Mentalidad (translated)

Alcatraz 17h

Alcatraz highlighted that the player had managed to win the set thanks to his experience and described his comebacks in the tie-breaks as extraordinary. He added that he was one set away from claiming another title. #Tenis #Deportes #Remontadas (translated)

Alcatraz indicated that the end-of-year tournaments used to be challenging for Alcaraz due to physical and mental strain. However, he believed that the four months the tennis player had been sidelined by injury could change the landscape this year and that, with Sinner absent, he would have a great opportunity to win in Shanghai, Paris, the ATP Finals, and the Davis Cup. #Alcaraz #tenis #ATPFinals (translated)

Alcatraz praised Alcaraz's level during the match, although he noted that there was a lapse at the end of the first set. He described the third set as an outstanding performance and said that although he needed to improve in the first sets, that was his way of competing and it should be respected. https://t.co/kP4gqYtBzx #Alcaraz #Tenis #Deportes (translated)

Alcatraz stated that he was Carlos Alcaraz and that he could play a first set normally. He repeated that claim three times. https://t.co/fKwQPuVux6 #Tenis #CarlosAlcaraz #Deporte (translated)

Alcatraz stated that it was hard to argue that the athlete he was referring to was the best in history and pointed out that he had defeated Sinner and Zverev in the same season. He also considered that continuing to compete with that motivation was a gift for the audience. https://t.co/6MipJypXEo #Deportes #Tenis #HistoriaDeportiva (translated)

SECOND ROUND. A match with many ups and downs. It is clear that Alcaraz still needs to get into competition rhythm. What is clear is that the level and the winning mentality are there. The draw has opened up quite a bit, so let's go for the title. https://t.co/ZhdCdCVdni #Tenis #Alcaraz #Deportes (translated)

Important to see him winning these sets, we can say that he has returned. https://t.co/fYqq1D4mWa #Alcaraz #Tenis #Deportes (translated)
