Dok vlasti u Srbiji i dalje predstavljaju članstvo u EU kao svoj strateški cilj, postupci njezina političkog vodstva često to ne potvrđuju. Smatram da se napredak Srbije u ostvarivanju reformi važnih za napredak prema članstvu u EU značajno usporio, a u nekoliko ključnih područja, posebno u vladavini prava, došlo je i do nazadovanja.
