Los Galácticos

The Galácticos published Cristiano Ronaldo's account regarding the dispute with the Portugal national team coach. The player claimed that after the 2026 World Cup, the federation president asked him not to leave the national team, and he himself supported the choice of the current coach. According to Ronaldo, the coach presented him with a game plan that involved participation in the first and fourth matches of the training camp. The player wrote that he agreed to play 30 minutes in the match against Norway, although he had not planned to play earlier, but after warming up, he did not go onto the field. He also claimed that the coach promised to clarify the situation at a press conference, but did not do so. Ronaldo stated that Simão Coutinho and Tiago Craveiro were also involved in the discussions. The player admitted that after the match he did not approach the fans, and later left the training camp. He apologized to Portuguese fans and his teammates, took responsibility for his decisions, and emphasized that the federation should assess their consequences. He added that after serving any potential punishment, he would be ready to return to the national team, provided he was in good form and was regularly playing for his club. He also announced that in the future he would play one or more farewell matches. #CristianoRonaldo #Reprezentacja #PiłkaNożna (translated)

It is worth recalling Ceferin's words from April 2023: I cannot comment on the Negreira case directly for two reasons: first, because we have an independent disciplinary committee for that, and second, because I have not dealt with this matter in detail. However, I can say that it is one of the most serious things I have seen in football. I have been informed, and the situation is extremely serious. At the level of the Spanish league, the case has obviously expired and cannot have sporting consequences, but as far as UEFA is concerned, nothing has expired. #futbol #UEFA #sport (translated)

OFFICIAL: Real Madrid confirms that it has submitted extensive documentation along with evidence to UEFA regarding events of extraordinary significance that directly undermine the integrity of the competition and trust in the refereeing system – specifically concerning payments made over two decades by Barcelona to a former vice president of the Refereeing Committee. Real Madrid considers it crucial for the investigation to proceed as quickly as possible, since UEFA already has the submitted documentation, until its full conclusion and the appropriate authorities have made decisions commensurate with the seriousness of the proven facts. The club will continue to actively cooperate with UEFA and take all available actions to clarify these events, which it considers contrary to the principles of integrity, transparency, and fair play that European football should adhere to. #RealMadryt #UEFA #FairPlay (translated)

The Royals have requested the revocation of the titles won by Barcelona in the years when the Catalan pride was paying Negreira. #UEFA #RealMadryt #Negreira (translated)

The course of events in the conflict between Cristiano and Jorge Jesus: 1. Jorge Jesus called Cristiano and they agreed that he would play in the first match against Wales and in the fourth, against Norway. Initially, everything went according to plan and Cristiano was in the starting lineup for the match against Wales. 2. On the day of the second match, Jorge Jesus changed his mind and informed Cristiano that he would need him - possibly for the last half hour. In the 51st minute, Haaland scored to make it 1-1 and Jesus sent Ronaldo to warm up, but in the 54th minute Portugal regained the lead. The coach deemed it unnecessary to bring Cristiano in, as the priority had become to maintain the favorable score. CR7 warmed up for half an hour, did not enter the field, and left the stadium in anger. 3. Cristiano did not train with the group in Denmark; instead, while the team was practicing, he went to the hotel for individual training in the gym. 4. Jorge Jesus's press conference made Ronaldo lose his patience. He listened to the coach's statements, but the explanations presented did not convince him. Instead of going out to train with the team, he left the hotel and headed towards his private jet. 5. Coach Jorge Jesus and federation president Pedro Proenca went to the airport after Cristiano to try to persuade him to stay in Copenhagen, but CR7 would not be convinced and boarded the plane. 6. In Portugal, it is believed that Ronaldo's departure from the training camp marks the definite end of his international career. "Sister of Cristiano Ronaldo shared a post with the caption 'nothing more to add'. 'CR7 deserved more respect. The national team deserved better organization. Portuguese journalism deserved more competence and less speculation. As for the Portuguese, well... they don't deserve to have the best in any field. We are jealous, contemptuous, ignorant, and we deserve to return to the mediocrity that we have always been in football before the CR7 era. Thank you for everything, CR7. You deserved more!'" #CR7 #Futbol #Portugalia (translated)

#RealMadryt #derby #LaLiga
