Haley Stevens defeated Andy Levin in a competitive Congressional primary in 2022. AIPAC spent $4.5 million on the race. AIPAC couldn't stand that Levin was a Jewish progressive who fought for Palestinian freedom. Stevens was also backed by Hillary Clinton, Emily's List, & the CBC Chair in the race.
