The President's Office neither organized it nor paid for anything," said Pavel, who thus repeated the earlier statement of the castle office. #PetrPavel #Maroko #transparentnost (translated)

I consider his words important in terms of transparency and openness, but politically I refuse to interfere with my privacy. Pavel stated that he wants to clarify the questions that arose in connection with the trip during the time he could not respond to them. #PetrPavel #transparentnost #Maroko (translated)

I cannot come to terms with the fact that the state should dismiss officials simply because the government changed after the elections. President Pavel warned against the politicization of offices and against contradicting the recommendations of the European Commission. #státnízaměstnanci #politika #reforma (translated)

"I cannot accept that the state would dismiss officials simply because the government changed after the elections," Pavel said in the justification of the veto about a month ago, adding that the law goes against the recommendations of the European Commission to better protect senior officials from political interference. #státnízaměstnanci #politizace #reforma (translated)

I have always emphasized that I consider elections to be extremely important for citizens to express their opinions. I have also always emphasized that the president, as the first among equals, should lead by example. I am glad that I could correct this mistake, let's say, in judgment, because we all make mistakes, even presidents. Therefore, I consider this matter closed. I am glad that I could do it this way and let citizens know that they should go vote too," said Pavel. #PetrPavel #volby #Českopolityka (translated)
