Assistant Attorney General for Civil Rights at the DOJ, Harmeet Dhillon Says the SAVE America Act is ‘Critically Important’ to Election Security And Fighting Efforts to ‘Mass Import’ Illegal Voters: “It’s critically important that we bring some regularity to at least federal elections. Every American citizen needs to know that in federal elections, only American citizens are voting, and they’re only voting once. I can say based on the work that I did in the 2020 election, 2022 election, 2024 election and recall election in California, states have deliberately sloppy procedures. Liberal activists like Marc Elias and others in the ACLU and League of Women Voters, whenever states try to do the right thing and clean up their voter list. These activists go to them and say you’re disenfranchising African-Americans. Basically, they say Black people are too dumb to get an ID. Women are too dumb to be able to figure out how to conform their ID to their legal name, and therefore, nobody can have fair elections, and nobody can be confident in the outcome. This is deeply offensive, and as I’m sure you’ve covered on your show previously, more than 80% of Americans of all political stripes and races and backgrounds agree that voter ID is important.” “Why are some people so afraid of this? You would think this would be a bipartisan issue. We know why. There’s been a massive effort to import illegal people into our country, and then they casually, by self-vouching, get onto our voter rolls in the thousands.” -
