Patricia Bullrich announced that she would vote against the new appointment of prosecutor Susana Pernas. She stated that Pernas had requested prison for police officer Chocobar, who, according to Bullrich, had risked his life to stop a criminal who had stabbed a tourist, and who had later defended that sentence after its annulment. Bullrich maintained that prosecutors should protect society and pursue crimes, not defend criminals or pursue those who protect the population. She added that even if Pernas received a favorable ruling from the Agreements Commission and her appointment reached the chamber, she would vote against it. #VotoEnContra #Justicia #DerechosHumanos (translated)
