W regulaminie PlayStation jest zapis, że jeśli konto nie było używane przez co najmniej 36 miesięcy, Sony może podjąć kroki do jego zamknięcia. Po zamknięciu konta tracisz dostęp do usług i cyfrowych produktów kupionych na tym koncie. I teraz normalne życie: wyjechałeś za granicę do pracy, nie zabrałeś konsoli, urodziło ci się dziecko, miałeś remont, przeprowadzkę, chorobę, problemy rodzinne, poszedłeś na studia, kontrakt, do wojska, albo po prostu zrobiłeś sobie przerwę od grania. Nie logujesz się 3 lata. I nagle cała twoja „kolekcja” cyfrowych gier za tysiące złotych zależy od maila, którego mogłeś nie zauważyć, starej skrzynki, do której nie masz dostępu, i łaski korporacji. Pudełko po 15 latach wyciągam z szafy i gram. Cyfra po 3 latach może zamienić się w komunikat, że konto zostało zamknięte.
