Felipe Leme stated that the DCE of UFV had raised the necessary amount to fund students' travel to vote. According to him, members of the directory were campaigning for Lula on social media and in WhatsApp groups and conditioned the students' trip on their support for the candidate in the second round. Leme said that the organizer of the fundraising, identified as Caio, was also promoting the pro-Lula group. The author stated that the situation could constitute an electoral crime as it involved payment for voters to vote for a candidate supported by the organizers. He also questioned whether any donor had ties to the PT and asked to be sent cases that seemed irregular so that he could expand his outreach. #CrimeEleitoral #Eleições2024 #DCEUFV (translated)
