Julius Betschka reported that the Young Union has decided on four immediate measures against R2G in Berlin. These included the political condemnation of a coalition of the SPD and Greens with extremists, the exclusion of the state government from information from the Office for the Protection of the Constitution and the BKA, as well as an immediate ban on socializations through a federal law that should be enforced by means of directive competence. In addition, the Young Union demanded a federal committee to document violations of the law by the Berlin state government. #DLT26 #Berlin #Politik #JungeUnion (translated)

Julius Betschka reported that a man from the Young Union called for Friedrich Merz to resign during the Germany Day. He accused Merz of leading a de facto "plundering expedition" against the younger generation and compared his approval rating to that of Liz Truss, stating it was at 10 percent. If Merz cares about his country, he should drive to the Federal President in his official car and ask for his dismissal, the man said. According to Betschka, there were scattered cheers but also murmurs. #DLT26 #Politik #Deutschland #JU (translated)
