Nicolas Perez denounced the patch change announced at 11:50 PM, while his team was to play a quarter-final 36 hours later. He indicated that the competition would switch from patch 20.18 to 20.20 and attributed this change to poor patch planning management by Riot and EMEA. According to him, the Demacia Cup was also affected. Perez specified that patch 20.20, the one for Worlds, included many changes, including a significant buff for Aphelios and Draven, two champions played by an opponent of his team. He estimated that his team would have only one practice on this patch, whereas teams like Galio would have none before their quarter-final, scheduled for the next day. He characterized the situation as particularly serious for the most important competition of the year for his team. #LeagueOfLegends #RiotGames #Esports (translated)
