Gregory Maguire revealed that Ariana Grande inspired part of his new book, “Galinda: A Charmed Childhood”: “When I saw her in the first ‘WICKED’... she does that extended kick, throwing her heel toward the chandelier... and I thought, ‘Who the hell knew that Galinda could dance?’... So, when I wrote about Galinda taking dance lessons and wanting to be the lead dancer, that is completely the result of Ari's kick.” #ArianaGrande #Galinda #Wicked (translated)
