TheRealTom wrote that a Bavarian constitutional judge wants to force representatives, who are free and only obligated to their conscience, to adopt a uniform, prescribed voting behavior through criminal law means. A former chancellor’s office minister demanded that half of the members of the inaugural session of a state parliament stay away en masse. Magnus Barsøe criticized that the 31-year-old Nkumba Ludovic Tshiembe had supposedly received one year in prison for killing a family man. He wrote that Tshiembe had previously been convicted of rape and attempted murder, and called the sentence, as well as a one-year nightlife ban, insufficient. Barsøe called for minimum sentences inspired by the USA, although he did not advocate for the American legal system. He believed that greater alignment between the court’s sentences and the public’s wishes was necessary to maintain trust in the rule of law, and that the current gap harmed democracy and was deeply unfair to the victims of crime. #retsstat #strafferet #retfærdighed (translated)

The city is tightening, the situation is getting worse. All the outskirts – there, there, and there – are already dangerous. The city center is more or less calm, but even here... We are not just standing here. Yesterday we drank coffee here and suddenly we see people pointing: look, it's coming," said local volunteer Sergei. "Last night was quiet. Everything was calm. Sometimes 12 to 15 explosive bombs come in one night, shaking the building. But this time I didn't even wake up," Sergei said. "The road is already very dangerous. Several cars have been set on fire. FPV drones are waiting and Molniya drones are flying in. Therefore, most carriers don't come here at all anymore," said also a driver named Sergei. #Kramatorsk #UkrainaSõda #Pommitamine (translated)
