U. S. Sen. Jim Banks has called for a federal investigation into potential "chameleon carrier" trucking networks operating in Indiana, following several fatal crashes involving truck drivers who should not have received licenses.

Indiana legislators have been filing bills for the 2026 legislative session, which begins again Monday, and some of the bills have a lighthearted goal.
