Conkerax reported that a friend working at Micromania had told him about the large number of messages regarding a Nintendo 64 box designed to hold Ocarina of Time on Switch 2. He saw this as a sign of attachment to physical formats and collectibles. He added that they planned to camp out in the evening to get it and stream live together, expressing joy about the return of in-store events "the old-fashioned way." #Nintendo64 #OcarinaOfTime #Micromania (translated)

DaniCorpHQ presented LASRecomp as, to its knowledge, the first project to publicly offer a ready-to-use recompiled version of a Nintendo Switch game. According to them, The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening (2019) could thus run natively on PC, under Windows, Linux, and macOS, without emulation. They specified that one needed to provide their own dump of version 1.0.0 as well as their prod.keys. DaniCorpHQ added that the project notably offered ultrawide display, internal resolution adjustment, SMAA, FSR1, 360-degree movement, removal of blur, support for keyboard and controllers, as well as an integrated randomizer. They estimated that 2026 marked a particularly important year for recompilations. https://t.co/BnLSITIrsK #NintendoSwitch #Zelda #JeuxVidéo (translated)

JV wrote that he had met Charles Martinet, whom he considered his childhood idol, and that he had taken a photo with him. He said that Martinet's voice in person sounded even more like Mario than the character's own voice and had told them "Super Star." He also thanked NintendoLatam for the opportunity. https://t.co/VVBAgAQEfx #CharlesMartinet #Nintendo #Idolo (translated)

PlayStation News rated the progress of emulation on PS5 as "absolute madness" and stated that it had seen PS3, Xbox, and Nintendo games running directly on the console. https://t.co/9vNDEnRdMb #PS5 #emulación #videojuegos (translated)
What madness the videos I am seeing here: - Totally pirated PS5s that can run Nintendo games. - PS5 games like Astro Bot can now be emulated on PC. - Minecraft inside Elden Ring and GTA 5. - Super Mario 64 inside Minecraft. What a crazy week.
