Ir pārpratums un nepareizi izplatīta ziņa/ virsraksti medijos = nav nekāds apdraudējums Latgalē un nav nepieciešamība ieviest ārkārtas situāciju. Ir vienkārši neveiksmīgs rīkojuma nosaukuma un anotācijas formulējums no KEM @JanisVitenbergs ievietotajā dokumentā TAP portālā. Ministrijas dokumenta teksts ir maldinošs un pārprotams (tā ir kļūda, ministrs to labos), kuru izlasot detalizēti skaidri var saprast, gan tā jēgu, gan būtību ieviest juridisko regulējumu rīcībai dzeltenā, oranžā brīdinājuma situācijās. Ministru prezidenta Andra Kulberga uzruna sabiedrībai Vēlos skaidri pateikt Latvijas cilvēkiem: šobrīd nav pamata satraukumam. Latvijas militārā apdraudējuma līmenis nav mainījies. Tieša militāra iebrukuma draudu risks Latvijai šobrīd ir zems. To apliecina mūsu drošības dienestu rīcībā esošā informācija, un to publiski ir uzsvēris arī Valsts prezidents. Jā, mēs dzīvojam laikā, kad tepat netālu turpinās Krievijas karš pret Ukrainu. Mums ir jārēķinās ar kiberuzbrukumiem, sabotāžas mēģinājumiem, provokācijām, droniem un citām hibrīdkara izpausmēm. Tāpēc valsts dienesti strādā paaugstinātas uzmanības režīmā, mēs stiprinām austrumu robežu un kopā ar NATO sabiedrotajiem nepārtraukti uzraugām situāciju. Taču gatavība iespējamam apdraudējumam nav tas pats, kas tūlītējs apdraudējums. Šīs divas lietas nedrīkst sajaukt. Diemžēl pēdējās dienās publiskajā telpā redzam skaļus paziņojumus par “Krievijas karadarbības eskalācijas draudiem” un ārkārtējās situācijas izsludināšanu. Šādi formulējumi, atrauti no faktiskā drošības situācijas novērtējuma, saprotami rada cilvēkos jautājumus un satraukumu. Aicinu gan ministrijas, gan politiķus šajā jautājumā būt īpaši atbildīgiem. Drošība nav priekšvēlēšanu retorikas instruments. Ar cilvēku bailēm politiskos punktus pelnīt nedrīkst. Ja kādai ministrijai ir nepieciešams īpašs juridisks regulējums, lai apdraudējuma gadījumā nodrošinātu slimnīcu, energoapgādes, ūdenssaimniecības vai citas kritiskās infrastruktūras nepārtrauktu darbu, tad valdība šādus priekšlikumus izvērtēs un nepieciešamos lēmumus pieņems. Tas ir mūsu pienākums. Bet tehniskus un organizatoriskus valsts gatavības pasākumus nevajag pasniegt sabiedrībai tā, it kā Latvija atrastos uz kara sliekšņa. Latvija ir droša valsts. Mēs esam NATO dalībvalsts. Latvijā atrodas sabiedroto spēki. Mūsu gaisa telpa tiek nepārtraukti uzraudzīta, austrumu robeža tiek stiprināta, un mūsu drošības dienesti strādā kopā ar sabiedrotajiem. Valdības uzdevums ir būt gatavai arī vissliktākajiem scenārijiem. Tieši tādēļ mēs stiprinām valsts noturību un kritisko infrastruktūru. Tāpēc mans aicinājums Latvijas cilvēkiem: dzīvojam savu ikdienas dzīvi, esam mierīgi, bet modri. Savukārt politiķiem un valsts amatpersonām mans aicinājums ir striktāks - esiet atbildigi ar to, ko sakiet!
