Italie 🇮🇹 - Champs Phlégréens - Séismes Mon analyse ⤵️ C'est parfois un peu technique mais pas d'inquiétude, vous allez tout comprendre 👍 Ce 31 juillet, nous avons assisté au + puissant séisme (M4.7 2,6 km prof) jamais relevé dans le secteur depuis que les instruments de mesures existent (années 70). Oui, il y a ici une magnitude record, mais il faut savoir que la vitesse de soulèvement ralentit pourtant (un peu le principe du bradyseisme dans la zone, imaginez une terre qui inspire et expire pour capter le truc). Lors du dernier bulletin hebdomadaire du 28/07 (donc juste avant l'événement) j'ai remarqué que la vitesse de soulèvement était en décélération. On est passé d'environ 30 mm/mois après l'essaim sismique de février 2025, à environ 15 mm/mois début avril, puis 10 mm/mois depuis février 2026. Et le bulletin du 20/07, lui, conclue explicitement qu'aucun élément ne suggère d'évolution à court terme. Un M4.7 qui survient dans ce contexte (pas au pic de vitesse d'inflation, mais plutôt en phase de ralentissement) colle bien mieux au modèle de fatigue crustale (Kilburn et al.) qu'à un scénario de poussée magmatique fraîche. Mon idée c'est que chaque cycle de soulèvement/déflation depuis 2005 endommage un peu plus la roche du toit du réservoir hydrothermal (micro-fracturation cumulative) ce qui abaisse progressivement son seuil de rupture. Résultat : il faut de - en - de contraintes supplémentaires pour produire une rupture de + en + grande. Le record de magnitude avec un chargement qui ralentit c'est un peu comme le pedigree de ce mécanisme. Parlons maintenant de la faible profondeur (je rappelle 2,6 km, essaim ensuite à <1 km). En fait, c'est cohérent avec une rupture fragile confinée dans le toit calcique/tuffacé au-dessus du réservoir hydrothermal et non pas une migration de fluide magmatique profond qui se traduirait typiquement par un approfondissement ou une dispersion verticale des hypocentres et souvent par du trémor volcanique (signal continu, pas des chocs discrets). ⚠️Rien dans les remontées actuelles ne mentionne de trémor associé et ça va être en gros LE signal à surveiller en priorité dans les prochaines 24-48h⚠️ (et les nanas et les mecs de l'INGV le savent très bien) Y a d'autres trucs à bien chouf encore comme la migration des répliques, si elles restent groupées à 2/3 km ou si elles se dispersent latéralement le long du système de failles de Rione Terra/Solfatara-Pisciarelli. Ça, ça donne un indice t'sais, allez, je dis le mot du magma. Faut aussi chouf si saut de déformation immédiat il y a, accélération ou au contraire relâchement de contrainte (subsidence locale) ? Les fumerolles aussi... La Bocca Grande était déjà sur une tendance de réchauffement (vers 173°C en janvier) eh bien là faut surveiller s'il y a une une variation brutale de flux/température dans les heures qui suivent. Pour résumer un M4.7 c'est modeste à l'échelle mondiale mais ici c'est le record absolu pour le moment. Ce séisme et ces essaims sismiques ne sont pas POUR MOI un "signe avant-coureur d'éruption imminente" car rien (POUR LE MOMENT) dans les paramètres géochimiques ou de déformation ne pointe dans ce sens à ce stade mais plutôt, comme je dis au-dessus, la vulnérabilité structurelle cumulative, c'est à dire un bâti napolitain déjà fragilisé par 20 ans de secousses répétées et qui encaisse de + en + mal des magnitudes autrefois + modérées. Et c'est bien là, à mes yeux, le facteur de risques qui progresse indépendamment de la probabilité éruptive elle-même. Si vous avez des questions, n'hésitez pas !
